'J. Edgar' Funny or Die Spoof: Leonardo DiCaprio Would Like His Oscar

The trailers for Clint Eastwood's historic drama 'J. Edgar' should cause you to think about just one factor: Zack Snyder's 'Watchmen,' since all of the color is desaturated! Academy awards! In the sweeping music towards the old-guy makeup on stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Armie Hammer, 'J. Edgar' -- the Eastwood-directed biopic about FBI director J. Edgar Hoover -- may be the type of Oscar grab Martin Scorsese accustomed to make before he finally won some hardware (see: 'The Aviator' and 'Gangs of NY,' both with DiCaprio within the lead roles). Using the film in limited release today (having a wide release developing Friday), individuals at Funny or Die made the decision the time had come to parody the 'J. Edgar' trailer by parsing it lower with a fundamental facts: that DiCaprio wants an Oscar, and Eastwood may be the "Oscar magnet" who are able to get him one.
